Welcome at Trelew airport and transfer to Estancia RincĂłn Chico near Punta Delgada.

Located inside Península Valdés, the estancia offers programs with flora & fauna observation, interpretative walks, bird watching outings and guided visits to elephant seals and sea lions colonies on the coast.

The rough Atlantic coastline of Península Valdés with its sheltered bays, abrupt cliffs and narrow pebble beach and beaten by the tidal waves, provide the ideal conditions for Sea Lions colonies as well as one of the few continental reproduction areas for the giant Elephant Seals.

Estancia RincĂłn Chico

Set amidst open prairies and grasslands, sand dunes and cliffs, it is habitat for an amazing amount of land living animals such as the Guanaco, Choique (Patagonian rhea), Mara (Patagonian hare), Armadillos and Skunks, which present magnificent moments for the naturalist and photographer.

In the afternoon transfer to Estancia El Pedral near Punta NĂ­nfas.

Estancia Rincón Chico – Ea El Pedral

Walk along the beautiful pebble beach and visit the charming Magellan penguin colony of El Pedral. Enjoy the come and go of these magnificent sea birds during their reproduction season.

Further on below the steep cliffs of the lighthouse one of the few elephant seals resting places is found and occasionally whales and orcas visit the coastline.

A long drive south along the windswept Patagonian steppe takes you to the little fishing village of Camarones.

From here the beautiful coastal road goes along large plateaus and wide valleys with lonely sheep breeding farms and some of the most beautiful Patagonian coastlines.

The extended coast and rocky coves of Bustamante are habitat for an extraordinary biodiversity of marine wildlife and key sites for breeding seabirds along the Patagonian coast.

Occasionally Orcas, dolphins, elephant seals and even whales visit the crystal clear waters of this wonderful nature hideout.

Bahia Bustamante – Malaspina Cove & Peninsula

Learn about the local seaweed industry and join in the daily tasks of an authentic Patagonian estancia.

Visit the petrified forest, go for a mountain bike ride or simply enjoy the quietness of the sea meeting the Patagonian steppe, interrupted only by the sounds of wilderness.
